Where to Find School Closure Information
If weather causes the cancellation of school, closure information will be available from these media outlets: KOA AM 850, KUNC FM 91.5, KFKA 1310, News 4, KUSA 9, Denver 7, WB2 News, Fox 31, posted on this website, and parents will be notified by phone via School Messenger as well. If you have any questions please call 737-2403.

School Messenger
School Messenger software accesses the school district's student information system and selects phone numbers to call parents/students with messages from the superintendent's office and from building principals.
Building principals will use the system to phone parent/students with schedule changes and/or special events at the school.
The superintendent's office will use the system as a district-wide tool to phone parents/students regarding school emergencies such as school closures due to inclement weather.
It is important the parents/students keep building secretarial staff apprised of changes in home phone number and other contact numbers.

Qdoba & Subway Cards - $10
Qdoba & Subway Cards = $10 each
GES has a new fundraiser that is a great deal for your family, friends and neighbors. Buy Qdoba or Subway coupon sheets for $10 each and save big $ at these restaurants. Our school makes 80-90% profit on these coupon cards so it's a win win situation. You can make your $ back in just 2 visits. All GES students have an order form or you can stop by the office to pick up your coupon sheets during the school week. We're fundraising specifically for a new digital annoucment sign out on Birch Street in front of the school. It will be double-sided and display current annoucements for GES on one side and for VHS on the other as well as information like the time and temperature. Please consider supporting us in this fundraising effort.
